This week's SI.com power rankings have the Brewers at 8, up from a ranking of 15 last week. Though the writers aren't the long suffering fans that we are, they know what it's like to love the Brew Crew:
We can't be sure, of course, because these are the Brewers, and they've made it their business to disappoint. (Rejected ad campaign: "No Postseason Since '82!") But the Crew beat Houston's Roy Oswalt on Sunday, they're in first place at four games above .500 and they have the fifth-best mark in baseball. There's promise. Just no money-back guarantees.

Yes, I'm very excited about the season. They are not even playing well, but they are doing the things to win...we are excited about it out in NJ
