Yet another one of the many excuses people give for Ted Thompson lost weight today when Justin Harrell was placed on Injured Reserve, meaning he will not suit up for the Packers again this season.
Harrell, the Packers 2007 first-round draft choice, has been delayed and sidelined by injuries since the moment he was drafted.
Though Coach Mike McCarthy has referred to Harrell's problem as back spasms, Harrell has admitted that the problem is actually another recurrence of a lower back herniated disk.
Harrell's appeared in just 13 games for the Pack - six less than he's missed - and this move will end yet another of his season's. It seems we can assume he won't show any more time in an Packers' jersey and rumors are that this could be a career-ending situation.
